The Story Behind Kids Play 💛

Born from love. Inspired by seven little personalities. Created for every kind of child.

Every great story starts with a little love. Ours started with seven.

As a grandmother to seven wonderful grandchildren — five boys and two girls — I quickly discovered that no two children are alike. Each has their own personality, passions, interests and unique way of experiencing the world.

Some love sports and adventure. Others love creating, building, imagining magical worlds or getting lost in pretend play. One of my grandchildren is autistic, which has made me even more aware of how important it is to find toys that meet different needs, encourage exploration and bring genuine joy to every child.

And so began my search.

With birthdays, Christmas and special occasions always around the corner, I found myself searching for gifts that were different. I wanted more than the same toys found in every local toy store. I wanted products that would surprise them, challenge them, inspire them and make their little eyes light up.

But finding those extraordinary products wasn't easy.

I wanted toys that were thoughtfully designed, exceptional in quality and genuinely worth bringing into a child's world. Toys that did more than entertain — toys that encouraged curiosity, nurtured creativity, supported development and created opportunities for meaningful play.

When I couldn't find everything I was looking for, I decided to create my own collection.

I began exploring the world, discovering remarkable products and bringing together toys that were different from the ordinary. Every product was carefully considered, with quality, purpose and the magic of childhood at its heart.

And that's how Kids Play was born.

What started as a grandmother's mission to find the perfect gifts for seven very different children has grown into something much bigger: a collection of extraordinary toys, discovered around the world and chosen with love.
